4. Make yourself a cup of tea and hope the problem sorts itself out (it won’t)
5. Turn your computer off at the mains, wait 30 seconds, then turn it back on again (why is this the first instruction that all IT help desks give?)
6. Throw your computer out of the window and do something else with your day (this option would only be recommended if you are the owner of the computer, and not if you are in work, using a friends computer or in an internet cafe.
